Exchange Turbos

Applies to: Replacement Turbos

This is an AET Engineering LTD manufactured unit, this unit which is on an exchange sales basis, AET Turbos will dispatch this turbo subject to availability the same day, if order is received before 3:30pm and payment has been made, if your old unit has not been returned within 30 days there is a surcharge for the old unit of £200 + VAT

We offer a full delivery and collection service from only £25 + vat, if your address is out of area further charges may apply (These will be discussed on order call).

Warranty For Replacement Turbos 

Applies to: Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles, Marine & Agricultural Vehicles

We send fitting instructions with every turbo dispatch.

All our turbo units except competition units carry a 12-month warranty, this is from the date of invoice, provided that they are fitted in accordance with the manufacturers fitting guidelines and are not fitted to a worn/faulty/contaminated engine. AET Turbos recommend fitting a new oil feed pipe and the use of high quality synthetic/semi-synthetic oil, which should be changed according to manufacturer’s recommendations or every 6,000 miles if no guidance is available. Warranty For Custom Hybrid Turbos

Applies to: Custom Hybrid Turbos (NOT BRANDED, THOSE TURBOS HOLD THEIR OWN WARRANTY FROM THEIR MANUFACTURER e.g. Borgwarner Airwerks)

All AET manufactured Hybrid turbos come with a warranty against faulty manufacture and faulty parts for 12 months from date of invoice. No part of this warranty will apply in the event of either the turbocharger or the engine being modified by buyer or seller to increase power output.  This shall broadly mean any alterations to the manufacturer’s standard boost pressures or fuel settings and/or any use or device to modify any of the aforementioned.

No warranty is given for hybrid turbochargers or modified turbochargers used for racing or competition, or in any case where the manufacturer’s specifications including standard boost pressures or fuel settings have been exceeded or changed by any device or means. 

However, if a problem shall arise, entirely without prejudice to the previous content of this clause, the seller will if it is possible, attempt to assist in the identification of the problem so as to assist in the resolution of the problem, either free of charge or at a price to be agreed between the parties before commencement of the investigative work.  For the avoidance of any doubt, this assistance shall be voluntary on the part of the seller and shall not be a legal requirement under these conditions.
